Every October, the digital health world converges at HLTH and one of the most anticipated moments of the event is the Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards. These awards are a signal of where digital health is headed, and which innovations are about to change how care is delivered.
This year, Tenovi is honored to be part of that story. Co-nominees in the Digital Health Hub Foundation Award in the Best in Class category for Home Health & Diagnostic Monitoring, include: Biobeat, Empatica, Huma, Omron, Tele911, Validic, Withings, Xander Kardian, and Xealth.
How the Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards Began
The Digital Health Hub Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to helping healthcare startups grow and scale. It launched the Awards to shine a light on meaningful innovation. What started as a way to recognize early movers in digital health has grown into one of the most visible honors in the industry with thousands of applicants, national press coverage, and a prime spot on the HLTH stage each year.
The Categories: Recognizing Innovation Across Care
Over time, the Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards have expanded to reflect the breadth of health technology. Today, they include two main competition tracks: Best in Class and Rising Star with the following categories within each track.
- Home health & diagnostic monitoring, which highlights devices and platforms that bring care closer to where patients live.
- Health equity that recognizes solutions that address disparities in access and outcomes.
- Remote diagnostic tool or device for innovations that improve early detection and diagnosis.
- Women’s health, mental & behavioral health, longevity, patient Safety encompass some of the fastest-growing and most important segments in care.
Each year, a panel of industry leaders serve as judges to evaluate submissions. The winners are announced live at HLTH, giving companies a rare moment in front of a global audience of health system executives, investors, and partners.
Winners of Past Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards
Past winners have included some of the most recognizable names in digital health. Healthy.io, for example, took home Best in class honors for its Minuteful Kidney home test. It turns a smartphone into a diagnostic tool for chronic kidney disease screening that provides results within minutes. Other winners have included innovators like ŌURA, Overjet, and HeartFlow, whose technologies have transformed areas ranging from personal health tracking to AI-driven imaging. The Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards consistently spotlight solutions that go on to shape clinical practice and patient experience.
Tenovi Named a 2025 Semifinalist
This year, Tenovi has been named a semifinalist for a Digital Health Hub Foundation Award in the Best in Class category for Home Health & Diagnostic Monitoring for the Tenovi Smart Pillbox. The Smart Pillbox was designed to close one of the most stubborn gaps in healthcare: medication adherence. It is a Bluetooth device, that along with other connected devices, connects to the Tenovi Cellular Gateway to offer cellular connectivity, real-time data transmission.
The Gateway provides visual cues for patients for added adherence. A red light reminds patients to take their medication. When a compartment is opened or refilled, the Gateway turns green so patients know the event was transmitted to their doctor. The pillbox helps care teams track adherence, intervene early, and ultimately reduce hospital readmissions.
Being recognized alongside so many innovative companies is an honor, but most important is that the innovation is a step forward in making medication management easier and more effective for patients managing complex regimens or living in rural and underserved areas.
Looking Ahead to HLTH
The winners will be announced live at the HLTH conference this October 19-22, 2025, and Tenovi is thrilled to be in the mix. Being part of the 2025 Digital Health Hub Awards signals that Tenovi’s work is contributing to the next chapter of home health innovation. That’s something worth celebrating and a motivating force to keep improving lives by simplifying remote care. Tenovi will be sharing updates from HLTH and cheering on all of the innovators pushing digital health forward.
