Tenovi Partners with Iron Bow Technologies to Bring Simplified Connected Care to Government Health Programs

Government agencies can now purchase Tenovi’s devices and logistics services through Iron Bow’s contract vehicles, with all data delivered through a single API.

Tenovi, a leading provider of cellular remote patient monitoring (RPM) and remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) infrastructure, today announced a partnership with Iron Bow Technologies that makes Tenovi’s devices and services available to government agencies through Iron Bow’s existing contract vehicles. The partnership simplifies acquisition, so government health programs can move from decision to deployment faster.

According to the National Rural Health Association, rural communities have roughly 30 specialists per 100,000 residents, compared with 263 in urban areas.¹ Rural patients also face higher rates of chronic disease, and nearly 200 rural hospitals have closed or stopped offering inpatient care since 2005.² Remote monitoring helps close that gap, but only if it works for patients without reliable broadband.

Tenovi devices are built for rural communities where broadband is limited or unavailable. Patients take a reading, and the measurement transmits over cellular networks to their care team’s platform, either directly from a cellular device or through the plug-in Tenovi Cellular Gateway. There are no apps to download, no Wi-Fi to set up, and no smartphone needed.

The partnership serves health systems, payers, care management organizations, and RPM software companies, whether they want connected monitoring without building the infrastructure themselves or prefer to run it inside their own programs. For organizations pursuing Rural Health Transformation Program funding, the combined offering shortens deployment timelines, strengthens data security, and supports large, distributed patient populations.

“Government health programs already know which patients they want to reach. Buying the technology has been the slow part,” said Jay Lenick, Chief Revenue Officer at Tenovi. “With Iron Bow, agencies can purchase Tenovi through contracts they already hold and get monitoring into patients’ homes much sooner.”

The Tenovi portfolio includes more than 60 connected health devices supporting hypertension, diabetes, COPD, congestive heart failure, asthma, maternal health, weight management, and medication adherence, and more. Readings from every device flow through a single API, giving care teams one consistent view of patient data regardless of which devices a program uses. Tenovi also manages end-to-end logistics, from supply chain and inventory to shipping and onboarding, so programs can reach more patients who need remote monitoring across facilities and regions.
